The Observations and Research in Gender and Sexuality Matters (O.R.G.A.S.M) Human Sexuality Lab was initially developed by Dr. Cory Pedersen at Kwantlen Polytechnic University in 2007, out of an interest in informing both her Adolescent Development and Human Sexuality courses. The lab did not fully take off and become its established and productive form until late 2011, where it has since become devoted to exploring the psychology of issues in human sexuality like sexual orientation, commercial sex, atypical sexuality, and more.

We would like to extend special thanks to KPU for supporting our research through several grants, including the Humanities and Social Sciences Grant, several Special Purpose funds, and numerous opportunities for Faculty Academic Enhancement funding.
